| Comments: | Fantastic informative site. My grandfather died at easter and I was looking up what happened the day he was born, the twin towers fell on his birthday, so that is all I found. But when I came to your site, it brought back all those sick to your stomach feelings, that even those of us watching it thousands of miles still felt. As I delayed picking up my children from school to watch the news channels I could feel the fear. I picked the children up and then we carried on watching the news. Maybe not the best thing to let them see, but I felt the more people feel how others feel in their darkest hours, then maybe they will help us build them a better place. Best of Luck for you all! |

| Comments: | I may not be a New Yorker, but I fell in love with the city the first time I visited, which was September of 2003. I actually just returned from my second trip to the City last night. On this trip I visited ground zero for the first time. When I approched the hole in the middle of Manhatten where these huge buildings once stood my heart dropped, just as it did when I watched the attack happen live on tv. I never got to visit New York before the attack, but I beleive New Yorkers to be strong and resilient, and also the most friendly people I have ever met. |
